"Canada is a very pretty country, and the Mosport circuit is one of the most beautiful on which I have driven.  For a long time, my favourite circuits have been Le Mans, Silverstone and Spa but now I consider Mosport to be a real reference point... it could even be my favourite.  The only problem is that you cannot really let yourself go, as if you make the smallest mistake it can be very expensive : the speeds in the corners are very high, and the walls are very close to the track !  Apart from that, the week sent well; we had to change the engine again after qualifying as it was not satisfactory, and we were losing time under acceleration.  With the new engine, I set the best time in the warm-up, and if the race had not been interrupted with a red flag, victory would have been possible!"
